Mark Lundholm has performed in all 50 states and 10 foreign countries. From world-renowned musicians, heads of state, fortune 500 companies to rehabilitation centers and convicted felons, Mark has truly entertained on the world’s stage.

He’s appeared on Comedy Central, Showtime, A&E, CBS, and NBC. Mark wrote and performed his own one-man show off-Broadway in New York City reaching critical acclaim, and in his spare time created the now staple DVD series ‘Humor in Treatment’ and the Recovery Board Game.

CRAIG DEROCHE

Senior Vice President, Advocacy & Public Policy

Craig DeRoche joined Prison Fellowship several years ago as the director of external affairs for the organization’s advocacy arm, Justice Fellowship.  Today, DeRoche leads Prison Fellowship’s criminal justice reform efforts.

DeRoche was first introduced to Prison Fellowship while speaking at a national forum on addiction in 2011. He was the youngest statewide Republican leader in the country and was elected Michigan Speaker of the House, but in 2010, after serving a full tenure in the state legislature, DeRoche made national headlines with two alcohol-related arrests. It was only after his arrests, rehabilitation, and a renewed focus on his Christian faith that DeRoche escaped from his life-long struggle with alcoholism. He has been sober since 2010. 

DeRoche’s first book,Highly Functional, released in May 2015, is a memoir of his life transitioning from addiction to recovery. DeRoche frequently pens op-eds for publications such as The New York Times, The Washington Times, and The Christian Post.

 

Jodi Debbrecht-Switalski Keynote speaker at Unite to Face Addiction MichiganJodi Debbrecht Switalski is a partner with the law firm Giarmarco, Mullins & Horton, P.C., specializing in divorce and family law as well as criminal and civil litigation. She is also a Senior Associate with the Stutman Group, through which she provides dozens of presentations each year to students, parents, medical professionals, and others regarding the devastating drug epidemic our country faces today. She is a frequent guest on a number of TV and radio shows, and has published articles related to addiction and drug use. Prior to her current employment, she was a judge for the 51st District Court in Waterford, where she presided over a sobriety court and was responsible for implementing a veteran’s treatment program. She also served as Chair of the Substance Abuse and Drug Sub-Committee for the Michigan District Judges Association. Judge Jodi is a co-founder of a region-wide substance abuse education program called the Regional Anti-Drug Education and Outreach (RADEO). Among numerous accolades, she was unanimously selected to receive the statewide, first ever “Integrity in our Communities” Award from the Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, and was appointed to serve as a member of the Michigan State Drug Treatment Court (Legislative) Advisory Committee.

IVANA GRAHOVAC 

Executive Director of Austin Recovery

Austin Recovery is a nonprofit addiction treatment facility located in Austin Texas.  Prior to holding this position, Ms. Grahovac was the Executive Director of Transforming Youth Recovery, a strategic grant program for school-based recovery support K-12 through higher education.

She has also served as director of The Center for Students in Recovery at The University of Texas, where she led the expansion of collegiate recovery to all eight UT System schools, a measure unanimously approved by the UT Board of Regents.  Ms. Grahovac is in long-term recovery from substance use disorder and received her Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Michigan, where she started the program “Students for Recovery.”

Ms. Grahovac spoke at the National Heroin Task Force at the White House in September 2015, and before approximately 35,000 people at the UNITE to Face Addiction Rally in Washington D.C. on October 4, 2015.

 

Michael Johnson Keynote speaker at Unite to Face Addiction Michigan rally

Michael L. Johnson

Michael  Johnson is a nationally recognized trainer and lecturer in the field of addictions.

Over the years he has served the field in many capacities, including counselor, program director, consultant, and trainer.  He has developed a series of educational DVDs that are shown throughout the United States within residential treatment settings, correctional institutions, and prevention programs. 

He has worked as a consultant for the Michigan Department of Corrections, New York Department of Corrections, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons, as well as numerous drug courts throughout the country. 

Mr. Johnson served as faculty for Eastern Kentucky Universities Alcohol and Other Drug Studies for several years and has conducted classes at colleges and universities.  He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Counselor Education and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Wayne State University, and is a licensed social worker, a Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor in the State of Michigan, and has the International Advanced Addictions Counselor credential.
